Part 15 ~ Heart of an Incubus

-M- Trevor held on to a wall to keep from sinking to the floor, he was the furthest back cowering, after a moment of catching his breath he stood straight up with all his might, "I just want my son. That's all" Trevor's voice spoke out. Austin felt his face pale, the human boy avoided his eyes with his dad and look at Cedric on his shoulder, he pulled him into his lap and rubbed his back trying to help him with the pain, "Im sorry Cedric. " Austin spoke quietly. Lisa snapped her head up at Trevor, "you want to kill Austin! That's what you want to do!" Lisa shouted and stood up, she seemed like her knees were going to buckle any moment when she stood. "Stay away from him!"

-K- Valen lifted his hand up to silence the girl, well, to silence everyone for him to speak. The powerful and ancient incubus looked directly at the man. "The boy stays with us." Kristoff looked up to his 'father,' shock and relief washed over him. The elder incubus closed his eyes and smiled softly. <He's accepted Austin into the clan...> He lifted his head up and gazed over to his love. <Once Father properly meets you and Lisa, you both will be part of the 'family' as well.>

-M- Austin looked at Cedric surprised for a moment, "father?". Vincent nodded then glanced at Austin who was trying to understand what was going on. Trevor glared at the incubus, "you have no right. He's my son. You cant keep him." Trevor's temper was getting heated, the young incubus turned to Dominic and gave a face that asked for his help in this.

-K- Cedric forced himself up and placed his arm around Austin's waist, holding the boy close against him as he semi-buried his face against Austin's neck, a glare of hatred at the man. A low growl rumbled in the injured incubi's throat. Dominic kept his eyes leveled with Valen's, but soon dropped his gaze, his jaw set and teeth clenched as he seethed in anger. "I can't... doing so will be sealing my death..." The succubus and the other male within Dominic's clan whimpered and kept their heads bowed.

-M- Trevor snarled, and then snapped his head back towards Cedric. Anger seethed inside Trevor, Austin wrapped his arms around Cedric protectively from his father. Vincent squeezed Kristoff hand lightly, 'they aren't going to give up are they?' Vincent thought towards Kristoff.  

-K- <No...> Kristoff thought back, holding Vincent's hand tighter, but gently. Valen released a small amount of his emense power over the opposing clan, causing the succubus to wail in terror and pain. The other incubus jolted, then shook terribly. Dominic seethed and stumbled backwards. "Leave." the ancient incubus commanded. Both the succubus and other incubus made a break for it, soon followed by Dominic, but first, "Don't think this is over, Brother. He WILL be mine." Once he neared the threshold, he stopped once more and called out to the other. "Let's go, Trevor..."

-M- Trevor took another glance at Austin before he turned to go. Austin stared at his father back as he left, after a moment he brought his attention back to Cedric's and Arikke's wounds. "Cedric, stay here, ill be right back." Austin spoke in Cedric's ear. Lisa made her way to Austin and put her arm on his shoulder keeping him down on the ground, Lisa turned to the elder and frowned, she was still shaking as she approached him, "We need to leave the cops will be here any moment, they'll ant to know what happened." The angel walked over to the incubus and turned then flew off into the air breaking the glass ceiling on the way out. – Scarlet sat on the couch messing with her hair as the angel stood by her, "Keep watching Lisa." Then the air swarmed and It was Scarlet all alone again, "If you say so." Scarlet frowned
